I’ve started studying again and for the first time in ages, I’m actually enjoying it. The classes I’m taking this year are really interesting, so much more interesting than last year. I’ve also met a bunch of new people which is making my time at school so much more fun.

It’s amazing how quickly the time passes when you enjoy what you are doing and the people you are doing it with. I can’t believe it’s February already. Time flies eh?

In other news, I’m keeping up with my new year resolutions. Yeah, I know, that would be a first. I’m going to the gym 4 or 5 times a week and am loving it. It’s amazing how much energy you have after working out. Well, it’s not really like that at the beginning but once you build up some fitness, you really start to see results.

Along with that, my healthy eating thing is working out well. I’m sticking to eating lots of fruits and vegetables (like acai berry, raspberries, broccoli etc) and just a little meat here and there. I’ve pretty much cut out sugar and all that high fat cheese I love!

My biggest achievement of the year? I’ve cut out Red Bull. That stuff is a killer! Glad I kicked the habit.

I know that if I want my marketing project to be a success, I have to focus on what I really want to promote online. My instructions were to pick a product and create a blog and promote it. Then I need to get as many visitors as possible to the blog. At first I thought this was going to be the blog I use to promote the product but in fact, that doesn’t make sense. I need a blog dedicated to the product.

Instead, this blog will follow the progress of my other blog which is going to be about resveratrol and some other health products. I’m very much into eating a healthy diet so the blog will discuss the best foods to include in your diet if you want to live a long and healthy life.  I was looking at this blog which discusses organic food which I thought was a great idea for a blog. Otherwise, there is this blog which is about cheap and healthy food, which I also liked. So maybe I will create something which combines all 3 of these things. Foods which are great for you and high in antioxidants, plus are organic, and are cheap and healthy. Lol, maybe that’s not specific enough for one blog but anyway, I’m just throwing ideas out there.

I’ve been studying at a very well known university for the last couple of years. Marketing is my major so I’m starting this blog to learn about online marketing which is one of my required units. I’m still thinking about what this all means but my main goal is to learn how to promote a website and get visitors. I have lots to learn!
